2026-2027 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and VASA (Virginia Alternate State Aid Application)
The 2026-2027 FAFSA is open. Get ahead and complete your FAFSA for next year (fall 2026, spring 2027, and summer 2027). The VWCC Financial Aid Office will begin processing 2026-2027 FAFSA’s in early December, so you will not hear from us regarding 2026-2027 financial aid until then. The 2026-2027 VASA is also open. Students who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA may complete the VASA. Virginia Western’s financial aid priority deadline for fall 2026 is July 1.
