Description
United for Impact is a Virginia Western Education Foundation initiative that seeks to increase the footprint of Virginia Western in Northwest Roanoke through collaboration with neighborhood, non-profits and grassroots organizations that promote health, education, training, and community development.
Student workers living in Northwest Roanoke will assist in this initiative through calling and social media campaigns, posting of yard signs, creation, and distribution of flyers. They will assist with developing content for web design and posting, marketing and community research.
Students working with this initiative will attend weekly strategy meetings (virtual) with the project supervisor and community organizations to develop strategies to meet the goals of this initiative.
