This is an estimated list of some expenses that should be anticipated if you are accepted into the program. Only tuition and books are usually covered by financial aid funds. The Radiography new student orientation is held in the summer to discuss and answer questions about these items. Students are responsible for choosing the provider of their medical care and expenses vary accordingly. Students are responsible for laundering of uniforms and their own transportation to facilities utilized for clinical experiences. Virginia Western does not offer student housing. The college does not guarantee job placement upon completion of the program.

Note: Payment of tuition is on a semester by semester basis according to the number of credit hours enrolled in. The curriculum is a total of 71 credits.
**The tuition for prerequisites BIO141 and SDV101 (6 cr. total of $1,109.04) is not included in this table, as they are completed prior to the program. It does not include any costs for prerequisite courses (sciences/lab) or other developmental classes identified by High School GPA and math courses completed or Direct Enrollment as they vary by student and cannot be determined until the application is reviewed. The Virginia Western Radiography program is a restricted admission program.
