Help keep VWCC healthy with these wellness and safety guidelines.
- Stay home when you're sick
- Wash hands frequently
- Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing
- Clean Surfaces
- Facial coverings are available and welcomed but not required
- Wear your name badge or carry your VWCC photo id while on campus
If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, refer to the CDC’s quarantine and isolation calculator to determine how long you need to isolate, quarantine, or take other steps to prevent spreading COVID-19. As always, absences should be reported to your supervisor or instructor.
VWCC is no longer asking you to report cases of COVID-19.
VWCC’s Continuity of Operations Team will continue to monitor infectious disease threats and work with the Virginia Department of Health in accordance with VWCC’s Contagious Diseases policy (II-8).
For more information, visit the CDC’s frequently asked questions and testing web pages. For local information, visit the Roanoke City Health Department web page.
