As the Roanoke region attracts new industries, the demand for individuals with modern management training will continue to grow. The Virginia Western Management Program will keep you at the forefront of business trends with a curriculum designed to reflect the evolving nature of business management. 

Why choose Virginia Western?  

This accessible course of study is taught by a team of professionals employed in management positions across a variety of industries. This program is not strictly focused on academics — you will gain real-world experience and training that will make you an asset to any business. Earn new career opportunities, gain job security and find a balance between your education and personal life with accelerated semesters and a fully online class schedule. Cultivate soft skills like business communications, public speaking and conflict resolution while earning credentials in Microsoft Office software integral to today’s business operations. These skills and certifications will allow you to thrive in any professional environment. 

What credentials will I earn?  

Along with earning an AAS, you will also gain the following credentials upon completion:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification: Let employers know your capabilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office programs.  
  • Business Communications Career Studies Certificate: This certificate demonstrates that you understand the basics of working and communicating in an office environment. 

This program is available completely online.
