The Radiography Program strives to provide quality educational experiences that ensure students prepare academically, clinically, and professionally to develop intelligent, flexible, and mature responses to the changing nature of medical imaging.

Goals and Student Learning Outcomes
Goal: To prove clinical competency as an entry-level radiographer.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Students will demonstrate confidence and knowledge in positioning skills.
- Students will demonstrate the ALARA concept by practicing radiation protection to patients, self, and others.
- Students will determine appropriate technical factors for a quality image.
- Graduates will be prepared as entry-level radiographers.
Goal: To apply critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Students will demonstrate critical thinking skills for trauma/non-routine patients.
- Students will demonstrate critical evaluation of images and suggest modifications needed for diagnostic quality.
Goal: To demonstrate effective medical communication skills.
Student Leaning Outcomes:
- Students will demonstrate verbal medical communication skills.
- Students will demonstrate written medical communication skills.
