Start training toward a new career in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and installation with a Career Studies Certificate from Virginia Western. With two programs that focus on residential or commercial HVAC, you’ll enter the workforce with the skills, knowledge and confidence to start strong in your new HVAC career.
Once you’ve earned your Air Conditioning & Refrigeration CSC, you can take the next step in your HVAC career with the Commercial Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Refrigeration CSC. This program trains you on larger commercial HVAC systems, builds on the skills you learned in the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration program, and provides internship opportunities that allow you to gain hands-on training and earn real-world experience.
