Start training toward a new career in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and installation with a Career Studies Certificate from Virginia Western. With two programs that focus on residential or commercial HVAC, you’ll enter the workforce with the skills, knowledge and confidence to start strong in your new HVAC career.
Start with the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration CSC to learn the basics of residential HVAC installation, repair and maintenance while meeting the education requirements for the Virginia HVAC Journeyman’s exam. You will also be able to sit for the EPA Section 608 Certification test, which is required for anyone employed in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
