The Virginia Western Autonomous Vehicle Technology (AV) Program is designed for hands-on learners eager to shape the future of automation and transportation. Gain hands-on experience with the operation and troubleshooting of robotic vehicles up to and including autonomous vehicles while earning National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) credentials along the way.
Why choose Autonomous Vehicle Technology?
The Autonomous Vehicle Technology CSC combines mechatronics skills with advanced autonomous vehicle technologies to give you the tools to thrive in industries ranging from manufacturing to autonomous delivery. Designed in conjunction with Virginia Tech Transportation Institute and TORC Robotics, the skills you gain here will be in high demand whether working with ground-based vehicles, drones, or electric vehicles.
Earning your CSC in Autonomous Vehicle Technology will also allow you to earn several industry certifications, including PC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, NC3/Snap-on Multimeter, NC3/Festo Fundamentals of Electricity-DC and Universal Robots Collaborative Robots Certifications.
This program was created in partnership with Virginia Tech Transportation Institute and TORC Robotics of Blacksburg, VA.
