Horticulture Technology
The Horticulture Technology CSC aims to train you in plant growing and care, nurture your scientific interest in horticulture, and prepare you for careers in groundskeeping, landscaping and plant production. Learn greenhouse operation and plant propagation as well as landscaping skills like grounds management and planting design. Get hands-on training for commercial and home growth applications through our on-campus greenhouse and Community Arboretum.

Community Arboretum
The Community Arboretum is a two-acre educational garden located on the campus of Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, Virginia. Eleven separate gardens and plant collections surround a centrally located amphitheater and are home to approximately 700 labeled plant taxa.
