The Virginia Western Automotive Analysis & Repair CSC is a modernized program that offers training and credentials to prepare you for the workforce. You will learn diagnostic skills, vehicle maintenance and vehicle repair from a team of experienced technicians. Strengthen your knowledge and gain practical skills with a mix of lectures and hands-on training. Night classes make it easy to fit the program into your busy schedule. This is a career with high demand locally, as automotive shops and car dealerships rely on trained technicians to provide service to their customers in a timely manner.
Earn industry certifications
You will have an opportunity to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) entry-level certification tests in Suspension & Steering, Brakes, Electrical/ Electronic Systems and Engine Performance. ASE is an independent, nonprofit organization that works to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying automotive professionals.
Credit for Prior Learning
Our Credit for Prior Learning Program may award college credit for college-level skills and knowledge gained outside of a college classroom. Examples of Credit for Prior Learning include:- Certifications and licensures
