Accounting Annual Scholarship for Adult LearnersProvides assistance for tuition, books and fees to a student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in an A.A.S. Accounting program of study. Applicants must possess a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Priority will be given to adult learners/students demonstrating merit and financial need. The scholarship is to be awarded and sustained for the full two-year (4 semesters) program of study, should the student continue to meet eligibility requirements. Funding will be divided amongst the required credit hours to complete the program, and is not to exceed expenses. Academic and personal goals, as well as strength of commitment to an accounting career shall be detailed in the section provided in the scholarship application. The applicant must also submit a recommendation from a viable professional resource.3.09 creditsAccounting
BB&T Endowed ScholarshipFunds from the scholarship shall provide assistance for tuition, books and other related fees to students enrolled in the Business Science Division with an emphasis in Management. Students must maintain 12 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 grade point average.2.5012 creditsManagement
The BLUHF Project Annual Scholarship for Skilled TradesProvides assistance for tuition, books and fees to a student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester/credits dictated in a skilled trades/BTT program of study. Applicants must possess a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Priority will be given to students demonstrating financial need with a residency in Franklin County.2.006 creditsBTT
Business, Technology & Trades Annual Scholarship in honor of Deborah A. YanceyProvides assistance for tuition to students enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester in a Business, Technology & Trades program of study. Applicants must possess a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Priority will be given to those demonstrating financial need.2.006 creditsBTT
Elizabeth "Liz" Reed Carter Educational Annual ScholarshipProvides assistance for tuition to a student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester in a program of study. Applicants must possess a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and pursuing degrees or certificates in horticulture, environmental studies, plant science or forestry.2.006 creditsBTT

Construction Management Certificate Program ScholarshipFunds from the Scholarship shall provide assistance for tuition, books and fees to students who meet the following requirements: (a) enrolled in at least two credits per semester in the Construction Management Career Studies Certificate Program until completion of program, (b) maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade average, (c) have completed a High School degree or GED. No minimum GPA is required for new students to apply for the Scholarship. The Scholarship is automatically renewable each semester of enrollment if requirements are maintained. Scholarship recipients must purchase required course materials through the Virginia Western Campus Bookstore. Recipients must provide a statement indicating their intent to work primarily in residential construction after completion of the certificate program. Dennis R. Cronk Endowed ScholarshipProvides assistance for books, and other related expenses to students enrolled in the Management- Real Estate Specialization program. Recipients must have completed REA100, the "Principles in Real Estate" course, and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.2.50must have completed REA 100

Culinary Scholarship FundFund provides support for tuition, books and other expenses to Virginia Western students enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in the Culinary Arts Program. The student must maintain a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need. In supporting the VWCC Culinary Scholarship, financial aid will be provided to students pursuing associate degrees in Culinary Arts, as well as specialty certificates in Baking and Pastry. These students are in-demand in the Roanoke hospitality industry.2.509 creditsCulinary Arts
Foot Levelers Endowed ScholarshipProvides assistance for tuition, books and other related fees to full or part-time students enrolled in the Health Technology or Business Division. Priority is given to employees of Foot Levelers and/or their dependents.2.006 creditsBusiness or Health programs
Glenna H. Hall Memorial Endowed Scholarship for Women in Business established by Edwin C. HallProvides assistance for tuition for a student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester in a Business, Trades & Technology program of study. Applicants must possess a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Priority will be given to students demonstrating financial need.2.006 creditsBTT
Suzanne Hanks Paralegal Endowed ScholarshipProvides assistance for tuition, books and other related fees to students enrolled in the Paralegal Studies program. Students must be enrolled full time and maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Preference is given to those who graduated from Franklin County schools and have demonstrated financial need. Special consideration will be given to a first year recipient if he/she pursues the scholarship for a second year.2.5012 creditsParalegal Studies
Nicholas E. Janney Memorial ScholarshipProvides assistance for tuition, books, and other related expenses for students in the Automotive Technology Program or the Engineering Program, with a preference given to students in the Automotive Technology Program. Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Priority is given to those demonstrating financial need, with a preference for recent graduates from Botetourt County.2.006 creditsAutomotive Technology

Archibald Carter (Chip) Magee Memorial Annual Scholarship for Paralegal StudiesProvides assistance for tuition to a student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester/minimum credits dictated in a paralegal program of study. Applicants must possess a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. Applicants must indicate intent to pursue continuing higher education pathways for attainment of enrollment in law school. Priority will be given to students demonstrating financial need. Students may receive consecutive awards without application per continued eligibility.2.506 creditsParalegal Studies
Dr. Elizabeth W. Payne Endowed ScholarshipProvides assistance for books and technical support expenses to a student enrolled full-time or part-time in the Business Sciences Division with a concentration in one or more of the following: Accounting, AST, Business Administration, Clerical Studies, Legal Assisting, Management, Medical Transcription, Microcomputer Systems Technology, Office Technology, and Office Assistant. Priority is given to students demonstrating financial need. The recipient will continue to receive the scholarship in the fall and spring semesters for two years if the student maintains the criteria set by this scholarship.2.0012 creditsBusiness programs
Al Pollard Memorial Scholarship for the Culinary ArtsProvides assistance to first year and continuing students for tuition, books, and other related expenses, allowing qualified applicants to be eligible for funding in their first year, and to apply for up to two years of additional funding. No minimum GPA is required for new students to apply for the scholarship. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA and enrollment in nine (9) credits or more per semester in the Culinary Arts Associate Degree Program to be eligible for the scholarship in future semesters. In the section provided on the scholarship application itself, students must detail their commitment to the culinary arts profession, commenting on any previous culinary arts experience and their future goals in the field. Recipients are required to attend and help facilitate some special events of the Al Pollard Memorial Foundation including the Foundation's annual golf tournament.2.509 creditsCulinary Arts
Roanoke Master Gardener Association Annual Scholarship at Virginia WesternProvides assistance for tuition to a second-semester student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester/credits dictated in a Horticulture program of study. Preference will be given to students indicating interest in continued education/professional pursuit in the field. Priority will be given to students demonstrating financial need. Funds shall be divided and disbursed equally in fall and spring semesters; prior recipients are eligible for subsequent awards.2.006 creditsHorticulture
Trane Endowed ScholarshipProvides assistance for tuition, books and other related fees for students enrolled in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Program. Student must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Priority is given to Trane - Virginia District employees and their dependents; if none apply, then preference is given to those demonstrating financial need.2.506 creditsAir Conditioning & Refrigeration
Valley Bank Endowed ScholarshipProvides assistance for books, and other related expenses to students enrolled in the Business Science and Engineering Technology Division. Recipients must be a second year student enrolled in 12 credit hours in these programs and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Priority is given to students who are taking courses in financial services.2.5012 creditsBTT programs
Virginia Western BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) Annual ScholarshipConsistent with the purpose of the Scholarship, funds from the Scholarship shall provide assistance for tuition to a student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester in a communications/advertising program of study. Applicable coursework at time of establishment includes:

Wade Memorial Annual ScholarshipProvides assistance for tuition to a full or part-time student, enrolled in either a program of study (excluding liberal arts or social sciences) or pursuing an industry recognized certificate or credential. Preference will be given to African American students to address diversity in in Virginia Western's programs. Applicants must possess a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, demonstrate financial need and be employed in the community. The personal statement must indicate volunteerism in any one or more of the following: church or religious affiliation, education, athletics, or non-profit service.2.506 creditsNon-LASS
