- Work/Life Balance: Home Buyer Guide Seminar - Sponsored by Member One Federal Credit Union. Please visit the Work/Life Balance section of the Human Resources website for additional information.
- A Public Affairs Specialist from the Social Security Administration will be on campus to provide a seminar to employees on information you need to know about social security benefits and retirement. The seminar will be located in the Human Resources/Work Force Development Training Room on Monday, October 27th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. The specialist will remain on campus afterwards to provide one-on-one assistance. Please contact Denise Schuh no later than October 17th to sign-up to attend this most informative presentation. Seating is limited to forty (40) persons. Sign-up early to ensure availability.
- The 2009 Employee Health and Benefits Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Please visit the Wellness section of the Human Resources website for additional information.
- The Virginia Community College System (VCCS) has developed a program to give graduate students the opportunity to gain collegiate teaching experience while still in graduate school. For additional information, please review the "Chancellor's Graduate Student Fellowship" brochure or visit the VCCS website.

The Virginia Western Community College Human Resources Office exists to promote and serve a highly productive and motivated workforce charged with delivery of quality educational and training programs for those who enroll and matriculate through the college.
