Administrative Management Technology (AMT)

Programs & Training at Virginia Western > Business & Hospitality > Administrative Management Technology (AMT)

With an Associate of Applied Science degree in Administrative Management Technology, you can enter the workforce ready to meet the challenges businesses face and earn skills that will propel your existing career. Learn key aspects of office management including business communications, office administration, Microsoft Office applications, record keeping and basic accounting. 

This flexible hybrid program also features the Medical Administrative Management specialization that will train you to work in a medical office environment.  

Strengthen your resume with industry certifications 

Offices rely on a range of business software to manage daily operations. Along with earning your AAS degree, you will have the opportunity to earn the following industry certifications: 

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications: Let employers know your capabilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Office programs. 
  • QuickBooks Certified User Online certification: This industry-recognized credential will show employers you are skilled with QuickBooks online accounting software.
