Employee Giving: Help Make College Possible through CCAP

Virginia Western’s Community College Access Program (CCAP) is one of our region’s most transformative initiatives – and it’s only possible because of generous gifts from community supporters like you.

Since its founding in 2008, CCAP has helped more than 7,000 local high school graduates attend college tuition-free. For many of these students, higher education would not have been an option without this program. CCAP not only changes the lives of individual students; it strengthens our local workforce, keeps young talent in the Roanoke Valley, and uplifts entire families for generations.

When you give through the Unhidden Gems Employee Giving Campaign, you are fueling this impact. Employee giving helps make college possible. Every gift – no matter the size – helps sustain CCAP scholarships, providing access and opportunity to students who need it most.

Your support reminds our students that behind the classrooms, programs, and services they rely on, there are dedicated faculty and staff who believe in them and their potential. That encouragement makes all the difference.

Together, we are ensuring that Virginia Western continues to shine as one of our region’s true Unhidden Gems.
