The big day is coming up soon – 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at the BERGLUND CENTER across from Magic City Ford on Williamson Road.

• Doors open to the public at 5 p.m. Parking is free.
• The ceremony will be livestreamed on Virginia Western’s YouTube channel (youtube.com/virginiawestern) for friends and family not able to attend.
• You will have the option to purchase professional photos after the ceremony. Photos may be taken on the stage after the ceremony.
• Your supporters will have the opportunity to purchase flowers before the ceremony at thecommencementgroup.com/virginiawestern
• To comply with Berglund Center policy, all bags must be clear, including purses, backpacks, and diaper bags. Medical bags must be identified. All bags are still subject to security inspection. Max size 12″ x 18″ x 6″.

On the day of the ceremony:

• Arrive at the Berglund Center by 3:30 p.m. Rehearsal is in Berglund Hall and will last approximately 2 hours. You are not required to wear your regalia but you must have it with you.
• Food will be provided for graduates. You will not have an opportunity to leave the Berglund Center between rehearsal and the ceremony. You may also bring food and drinks.
• Bring layers. The temperature can fluctuate throughout the afternoon.
