Thanks to the private-public community partnership that funds the Community College Access Program (CCAP), 489 students are attending Virginia Western Community College tuition-free this fall. Roanoke region high school seniors may apply for the fall 2025 CCAP scholarship now through Feb. 1, 2025, at virginiawestern.edu/ccap. November is a busy time for transfer resources for our students! Our Program Advisors will be conducting two “Transfer 101” information sessions on Tuesday, November 12th. The Virginia Western Community College Educational Foundation announces that it awarded $152,436 in general scholarships to 142 students attending the fall 2024 semester at Virginia Western Community College. Additionally, in 2023-24, the Educational Foundation established 11 new general scholarships.
