During the break, we’re open 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Starting August 24, our normal library hours resume for this semester:

Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

The library has many resources and staff ready to support you this semester.

• The Testing Center is located on the ground floor. Please remember to complete a Testing Information Sheet for any tests you need proctored. New testing policies are in place, so reach out if you have questions or need support.

• The Academic Link is located on the middle floor with open computer labs, free printing, study rooms, and staff to answer questions. Have a question about VWCC technology, like Canvas, your email, textbooks, etc.? Come ask us! Need a place to hold office hours? We’d love to have you in the library!

• The Library is located on the top floor with the Writing & Research Center, books, magazines, and DVDs to check out, course reserve materials, loaner laptops, study rooms, and dedicated quiet space.

• Brown Library is excited to continue to offer loaner laptops to qualifying students. To qualify, students must be enrolled in at least one course and not have access to a computer at home. The application to borrow a loaner laptop is now open. Approved loaner laptop applicants will be notified on August 19 and may begin checking out laptops on August 20.

Tutor availability for fall will be finalized and loaded into Navigate August 21. Encourage your students to drop into the tutoring centers the first week of class to meet their tutors!

STEM Tutoring Center is in STEM 318.

Writing & Research Center is on the library’s 2nd floor.
