Virginia Western Leadership Learning Series – Hiring Federal Work Study Students – 4/22 @ 10am & 4/27 @ 1pm

As part of our Leadership Learning Series, we are excited to introduce our first operational-focused session, designed to support leaders in navigating important processes that impact our teams and our students.

Our first topic will be a review of the process for hiring Federal Work Study (FWS) students. This session will walk through the steps of the process, clarify roles and responsibilities, and highlight tips to help make hiring student employees as smooth and effective as possible.

Whether you currently supervise Federal Work Study students or may in the future, this session will help ensure you feel confident in understanding the process and expectations.
