Blind Date With a Book
Brown Library is celebrating Valentine’s Day the entire month of February with a Blind Date With a Book program. How it works: Come to the 2nd floor of Brown Library to select and check out your blind date (a wrapped book) Read the book Complete and return the Rate Your Date review card by March 15 Get entered into a drawing to win a prize!
Brown Library and Student Life Spring 2026 Reading Challenge
Stop by Brown Library to pick up a reading challenge card to track your reading. For every 5 challenges you complete on the card, you can enter 1 ticket into the raffle. Bring your completed challenge list to the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor of Brown Library to enter the raffle drawing for gift cards and other fun prizes. The raffle drawing will be held on April 22. Winners will be notified via VWCC email.

Brown Library Silent Book Club, 12pm on the first Wednesday of each month beginning March 4
BYOBook (or check one out!) and read silently with us on the 2nd floor of Brown Library on Wednesday, December 3 at 12pm. At the end of the hour, we’ll share what we’re reading
Miss Louie Library Visits, 11am on the first Thursday of each beginning February 5
Join us in Brown Library for a visit with therapy dog extraordinaire, Miss Louie, to help reduce stress, calm nerves, and bring a little joy to your day. Everyone is welcome to stop in and relax.
