Fall In-Service 2014

I hope that you are having a wonderful summer and finding some time to recharge your batteries after an exciting year last year and in preparation for what will no doubt be an exciting year to come. We have a great in-service schedule planned with activities for everyone on campus. One of the highlights for faculty will be the roll-out of our new Early Alert System called SAILS. Those that piloted this last year were very pleased with the results. We will provide training for all full-time and adjunct faculty on this system during in-service. Additionally, we will have several other informative professional development sessions that faculty won’t want to miss.   For staff, we are planning an “Administrative Functions of the College” session with new and exciting topics. For everyone, we are scheduling tours of the new Student Life Center and a college picnic catered by our very own Culinary faculty and students. We look forward to seeing each of you for these and other enticing sessions during our fall in-service.

The in-service letter and schedule is posted at http://www.virginiawestern.edu/stuaffairs/inservice.php
