This day is an opportunity to recognize and honor the journeys, achievements, and experiences of first-generation college students, including the faculty and staff among us who were the first in their families to pursue a college degree. We celebrate your resilience, determination, and the unique perspectives you bring to our campus community.

We invite you to share in the celebration and help us recognize the impact of first-generation experiences in shaping our campus. TRIO Student Support Services will have an awareness table on the 3rd floor of Student Life from 10AM-2PM. We welcome you to stop by, take photos with our sign, and grab a First-Gen button to show your support. Let’s celebrate our stories, our community, and the doors we continue to open for future generations!
