Join the Virginia Western Educational Foundation as we celebrate the rich and vibrant Hispanic culture of the Roanoke Valley at the annual Local Colors Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on Saturday, October 3. Virginia Western will host an information table to connect with prospective students, families, and community members while supporting this exciting cultural event. We’re looking for employees to volunteer for 2.5-hour shifts between 11am-4:30pm at John Nolen Plaza in Downtown Roanoke (next to the Wells Fargo building).

As a volunteer, you’ll:
Represent Virginia Western in the community
Meet prospective students and their families
Share information about our programs, training, resources, and opportunities
Promote the CCAP Scholarship and upcoming fall events
Celebrate the diversity and culture that make our region unique
