To Students, Faculty and Staff:

Virginia Western Community College implements a program to protect water quality discharged from our storm sewer systems.  Part of our program includes developing and disseminating educational material to educate our students, faculty and staff on:

• Stormwater impacts and steps to reduce pollution associated with stormwater;
• Prohibition of illicit (non-stormwater) discharges to the storm sewer, including potential disciplinary implications; and
• Proper disposal of waste to prevent entry into stormwater and subsequent conveyance to downstream waterways.
