Update to Digital Marketing Materials & Accessibility Compliance
In preparation for new federal digital accessibility mandates that go into effect on April 24, 2026, the Marketing department will no longer be providing PDFs for digital use/distribution to ensure institutional compliance.
What is changing?
We will no longer produce or distribute PDFs for digital use.
What’s not changing?
We will continue to design printed materials and send them directly to Print Services upon final approval.
We recognize this is a shift in our standard operations and are committed to helping you find effective alternatives. Many of our current platforms–including social media and the college website–outperform PDFs in reach and engagement. Our campus also has effective tools in place for internal/campus happenings: VWTV (handled by Media Geeks), the student bulletin (handled by the Student Activities Office), and the faculty/staff bulletin.
Please involve Marketing early in your project planning. By partnering with us from the start, we can recommend the best tools to achieve your specific goals.
