Faculty and staff, please encourage students to apply for the 2026-27 Educational Foundation scholarships today! Students submit one easy online application that matches their answers to many different Foundation scholarships based on criteria for those scholarships.

The Foundation now offers more than 130 scholarships for part- and full-time students, new or returning, with a wide range of criteria including program of study, academic merit and financial need. Scholarship awards typically begin at $500 but go upwards of $2,000, thanks to the continued support of Foundation donors. Throughout March and April, Virginia Western staff will be available to help students through the scholarship application process and answer any questions they may have regarding funding, eligibility and availability.
