As we kick off the 2026 calendar year, we want to provide clarity on the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program (VSDP) balance updates coming up.

While your new leave allotment is technically available for use starting January 10, 2026, there is a short administrative processing window required to update the system when the balances are not yet visible. The Shared Services Center will be processing these calendars between January 23 and January 26. You can expect to see your refreshed VSDP balances reflected in your account after 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26.
