Employee Giving: Thank You for Making Virginia Western Shine!

As the prize-winning portion of the 2025-2026 Unhidden Gems Employee Giving Campaign comes to an end, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated. Whether you made a financial gift or also encouraged your colleagues to get involved, you helped make this year’s campaign a success.

Over the past seven weeks, your generosity has supported students through scholarships, the Student Co-Op fueled by Kroger, the Student Emergency Fund, Great Expectations, CCAP, and the Unrestricted Annual Fund. These programs make it possible for our students to overcome challenges, stay in school, and build brighter futures. Because of you, Virginia Western continues to shine as one of our community’s true Unhidden Gems.

We’ve also had some fun along the way, with prizes donated by local partners including Buff City Soap, Hollywood’s Eatery, Hotel Roanoke, Blue Cow Ice Cream, Orvis, Deb’s Frozen Lemonade, the Rail Yard Dawgs, and many more. Thank you to these community businesses for their generosity and spirit of giving!
