One of the highlights of the Hire Education Conference is the 2025 Chancellor’s Awards for Workforce Development. The awards recognize individuals and groups that have gone above and beyond for our students and programs. The committee urges submissions to include additional details on how the nominee(s) have helped students, colleges, and the workforce system to honor the principles and intent of the primary goal of Opportunity 2030: Virginia’s Community Colleges achieving equity in access, learning outcomes, and success for students from every race, ethnicity, gender, and socioeconomic group.
