Thank you to everyone who is finishing up the semester and working hard to make sure our students are positioned to move closer to their goals!
By now you have ordered your regalia or are thinking about pulling it out of the closet to give it a last-minute look-over.
The big day is coming up soon – 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the BERGLUND CENTER across from Magic City Ford on Williamson Road.
- Please plan to arrive by 5:30 p.m. There is plenty of parking on site, however plan on arriving early to beat the Friday evening/event traffic. Please allow extra time for any back-ups that may happen on I581 or Williamson Road (There is an event happening at the same time in the performance hall, so maybe arrive a little bit early!). Please remember, faculty can park in lots other than VIP and are first come first served.
- Enter through the Exhibit Hall where the balloons are located. Once in the Exhibit Hall, you will be directed to the appropriate parlor room or changing area as needed.
Doors will open to the public at 5pm. Berglund Center staff will be checking bags at gates 12, 1 and 2. Guests needing assistance should enter through Gate 2. Ushers will be able to direct those needing handicapped seating to the appropriate areas.
NOTE: dinner for those working in the civic center on Friday will be at 4pm in the Grill.
