Phishing Tip: Well Known Accounts

Have you recently received an e-mail telling you that your Netflix account was locked or that your Amazon account is locked because of a weird charge? Maybe you don’t even have an account with the company sending the e-mail. This may be a phishing attempt. Phishing e-mails are normally based on popular companies that we all know so it’s important that you check for signs. Know the company e-mail address and verify websites. Don’t click on links in e-mails but open a browser and enter the address. Little things can make a big difference in keeping your information safe.
