Enhance your instructing skills by taking part in this new ‘Train the Trainer’ program! This program is open to VWCC Adjunct Instructors and staff members who can benefit from attending. Supervisor approval is required.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Expand knowledge basis in adult learning theories
- Identify and demonstrate best practices in the instructional design process
grounded in the ADDIE Model
- Develop abilities in multimedia principles
- Amplify classroom management processes and audience engagement
- Increase use of innovate technological tools in both online learning
and traditional classroom learning
- Integrate social learning and constructive methods to increase learning transfer
Course runs September 2022 to May 2023 and meets at the Thomas Center on the third Saturday of each month from 8am to 4pm.
