Welcome our new Coordinator for Institutional Research and Assessment!

We’re excited to welcome Casey Lofton, the new Coordinator for Institutional Research and Assessment. Casey’s first day with Virginia Western was October 11.  Casey’s office is located in Fishburn Hall.

Casey has a BA from the University of Virginia in Biology and Psychology and a M.Ed. from the University of Virginia in Quantitative Analysis in Education and Social Sciences.  When asked why she chose to join the VWCC team, she said, “This position is a great combination of my personal, professional, and educational experience. I have been a part of the VCCS system in multiple capacities since starting with dual enrollment classes in high school, and I am excited to give back and learn more about the VWCC community!” Casey wants work with the IE team to analyze and provide data to the VWCC community and beyond in an understandable manner so that we can all work together to provide students with the best possible experience.
