You Make The Difference Employee Recognition Event

Join in as the college collaboratively celebrates and recognizes your contributions that lead to the success of the college and the students that we serve!

 “You Make the Difference” Employee Recognition Event
Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Natural Science Center
1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

  • All employees are invited to stop by to socialize and commend their peers at this event.  Catered by A Cut Above Catering, an assortment of hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and beverages will be provided.
  • Following the event there will be award drawings!  Awards are limited to employees that have received a “You Make the Difference” card issued by their peer(s) from March 2012 through February 2013. Remember to bring your cards with you to the event.  If you prefer, you may deliver the completed cards prior to the event by placing them in a collection box located in the Human Resources Office.
  • A supply of “You Make the Difference” cards are located in the Human Resources Office.

Rock & Roll Diner

The Rock & Roll Diner will not be on campus today due to the high winds and cold weather. It is difficult to keep the water from freezing during the extremely cold weather.

Students Need a Quiet Place to Study?

Please let them know about Brown Library's “Study Hall” for quiet, individual study. This silent area for individual study is located in Webber 218.

Study Hall Dates and Hours

  • Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The library's top floor will be closed for renovation throughout the Spring semester.

Salsa Steps! Free Dance Class Starts Today!

Learn Salsa Steps with Eddie Ornelas, a local instructor! Eddie was born in Mexico City and is the founder of SalsaNoke!

Starts this Thursday!

Meet in the H100 Gym, every Thursday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. From January 24 to February 28 Free for students, faculty and staff! No experience or partner necessary!  All experience levels welcome!
