Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) – Approved by Virginia Board of Nursing
This 120-hour non-credit course prepares students to give direct care to patients in hospital, nursing home, assisted living and home health settings. Students learn a variety of basic nursing skills such as bathing, dressing, and grooming clients, taking vital signs such as blood pressure, purse and respiration, proper feeding and transferring techniques and much more. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the NNAAP certification exam. No less than 40 hours of this course will be dedicated to clinical instruction.
- Students must be 17 years of age or older
- Background check of your criminal history – included in class fee
- The student is required to take PPD Test, which is also included in fee
