Spring 2014 Student IDs

The remaining Spring 2014 Student ID hours are:
January 9–10     10:00 AM – 5:30 PM

January 13–17   10:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Mondays, Jan. 20 – Apr. 14       11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Tuesdays, Jan. 21 – Apr. 15        2:30 – 5:30 PM

Students need a copy of their sping schedule with their name printed or displayed December 6 or later, along with thier student ID number.  Students must also bring a government issued photo ID.  Students with Virginia Western IDs just need to bring a copy of their schedule to get their Spring 2014 sticker. The Student ID office is located in the 2nd floor lobby of the Thomas Center.

Indoor Soccer Open Gyms will begin January 20

Mondays and Thursdays

4:00 – 5:30 PM in Humanities Gymnasium (H100)

Student ID required to sign-in.

Women’s Recreational Softball

Virginia Western Student Activities is seeking female students interested in playing in the Roanoke City Women's Open Softball League from mid April to mid June.

The season is 10 games, with a tournament at the end.  Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Women’s Basketball game tonight!

Your Blue Stars Women's Basketball team will face Barber-Scotia College, tonight at 6:00 PM in the Humanities Gymnasium.  Come out support the team in their first home game of the semester!

NYC Trip Sign Up

"Signups for the spring 2014 trip to NYC have begun. Starting today until 1/15/14 you will be able to begin signing up for the trip. The trip included 2 nights and 3 days at the Wellington Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, admission to Top of the Rock and the American Museum of Natural History, a tour of NBC Studios at Rockefeller Plaza, dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square and breakfast at the hotel on our last day there. The trip also includes transportation to and from NYC.

A $100 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of sign up, and the remaining balance is split between two payments. All money is paid to the cashiers window in Chapman Hall, be sure to bring your signup sheet to them so they know what to charge you. The link below has all the paperwork you need to sign up.
