2013-14 Women’s Basketball practice

Your 2013-14 Women's Basketball starts practicing on Monday.  Students interested in joining the team should email Cecil Cox at ccox@virginiawestern.edu.

Men’s Basketball All-Stars Night is tonight!

The 2013 Men's Basketball All-Stars Night will be tonight at 8:30 PM in the Humanities Gymnasium.  Dunk Contest, 3-Point Shootout, Skills Challenge, and student contests for prizes are scheduled. 

Admission is free to the public and Virginia Western students are eligible for prizes with their current student ID.  The Men's Basketball team ask that you bring a can of food for donatation to a local food shelter.

Free Movies: The Conjuring

Get a second chance to see one of these recent Hollywood films!  All films will be shown in Whitman Theater - First Floor of Business Science.

The Conjuring - Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse.  Horror.

Need music in your life? Come to the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra!

The Student Activities office has a limited supply of free Roanoke Symphony Orchestra tickets for their performance scheduled Friday, October 11th at 7:30pm at the Salem Civic Center!
