{"id":11371,"date":"2023-05-08T16:20:55","date_gmt":"2023-05-08T20:20:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/virginiawestern.staging.tempurl.host\/iet-services\/?page_id=11371&#038;preview_id=11371"},"modified":"2025-01-09T14:33:02","modified_gmt":"2025-01-09T19:33:02","slug":"online-payment","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/iet-services\/myvwcc-help\/online-payment\/","title":{"rendered":"Set Up an Online Payment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"printfriendly pf-button  pf-alignright\">\n                    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/iet-services\/myvwcc-help\/online-payment\/?pfstyle=wp\" rel=\"nofollow\" onclick=\"\" title=\"Printer Friendly, PDF & Email\">\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"pf-button-img\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.printfriendly.com\/buttons\/print-button-gray.png\" alt=\"Print Friendly, PDF & Email\" style=\"width: 66px;height: 24px;\"  \/>\n                    <\/a>\n                <\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>With the <em>Make a Payment<\/em> link, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>store a payment profile to use for all online payment transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>create authorized payers that can make payments against your account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>include a secondary email address to receive notifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>view your current and previous statements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>make payments against your account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>view all transaction history against your account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For assistance, please call the Financial Services office at 540-857-6246 or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/iet-services\/get-help\/\">contact the Help Desk<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Access the Online Payment Portal from SIS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To access the online payment portal, you must be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/iet-services\/myvwcc-help\/logging-in-to-myvwcc\/\">logged into MyVWCC<\/a> and inside the Student Information System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>Tuition &amp; Payments<\/strong> tile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the left menu, click <strong>Make a Payment<\/strong>. This will bring you to the <em>Create Account<\/em> application. Complete the missing contact info and click <strong>Submit<\/strong>. You will then be instructed to create a 4-digit PIN to continue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up a Payment Profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <em>online payment <\/em>website, in the left-hand navigation menu click on <strong>Make a Payment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select to add either a <strong>Credit\/Debit Card Profile<\/strong> or an <strong>eCheck Profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter a name to identify your payment profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the requested payment information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make a Payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <em>online payment<\/em> website, in the left-hand navigation menu click <strong>View &amp; Pay Accounts<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Make Payment<\/strong>. Your current balance will be displayed at the top next to Amount Due.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Payment Account<\/strong> box, enter the amount you would like to pay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your <strong>Payment Method <\/strong>and click Continue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter in your <strong>Payment Information<\/strong> and click Continue. You will be asked to confirm your payment information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Confirm<\/strong> to process your payment. Your receipt will be displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create an Authorized Payer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An Authorized Payer is someone who you authorize to make payments against your account. For example, a parent, guardian, aunt, uncle, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <em>online payment<\/em> website, in the left-hand navigation menu click <strong>Financial Accounts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Want to designate another payer?<\/strong> to create an Authorized Payer. You can create up to five.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the requested information. You will need to provide your Authorized Payer with their login credentials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add<\/strong> to save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You can reset an Authorized Payer&#8217;s password by selected the <strong>Edit<\/strong> icon and then <strong>Reset Password<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add a Secondary Email Address<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <em>online payment<\/em> website, in the left-hand navigation menu click <strong>My Profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the box next to <strong>My Profile<\/strong>, click <strong>Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View Current and Previous Statements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <em>online payment<\/em> website, in the left-hand navigation menu click <strong>View Accounts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have a statement in the system, you will be shown your current statement. To print a PDF of your statement, select the <strong>Printable Statement<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To view previous statements, select <strong>Statement History<\/strong> and click the Detail icon next to any statement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View Transaction History<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <em>online payment<\/em> website, in the left-hand navigation menu click <strong>Activity Details<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous transactions made by you and your Authorized Payer(s) will display under <strong>Transactions<\/strong>.
