Cisco 88xx Phone How-Tos

To access the Personal Directory:

1. Press the Contacts button.
2. Select Personal Directory.
3. Enter your User ID (BlueNet Username) and Password (Cisco phone PIN) and press Submit.
4. Select Log Out, Select, and OK to log out.

To add a Personal Directory Entry:

1. Press the Contacts button.
2. Sign in to the Personal Directory.
3. Select Personal Address Book and press the Submit softkey.
4. Press the New softkey.
5. Enter the nickname information.
6. Press the Phones softkey and enter the phone numbers.
7. Press the Submit softkey.

To search for an entry in the Personal Directory:

1. Press the Contacts button.
2. Sign in to the Personal Directory.
3. Select Personal Address Book and press the Submit softkey.
4. Select one, all, or none of these: Last Name, First Name, Nickname.
5. Enter the search criteria information then press the Submit softkey.

Lift the handset and dial the 5 digit extension (7-XXXX).

Lift the handset and dial 9 + the number (9-555-1234).

Lift the handset and dial 8 + 1 + the number (8-1-540-555-1234).

Lift the handset and dial 9 + 1 + the number (9-1-540-555-1234).

Note: These are billable!

1. While on a call, press the Transfer button or softkey.
2. Dial the 5-digit extension you wish to transfer the call to (7-XXXX).
3. If desired, speak to the person you're transferring the call to.
4. Press the Transfer or softkey again to complete the transfer.

1. While on a call, press Transfer button or softkey.
2. Press the * button.
3. Dial the 5-digit extension (7-XXXX).
4. Press the Transfer button or softkey again and hang up.

To forward all incoming calls:

1. Select a line and press the Forward All softkey.
2. Dial the number.

To forward calls to voicemail:

1. Press the Forward All softkey.
2. Press the Voicemail button.

To receive calls again:

1. Press the Forward Off softkey.

Ad Hoc Conference (max of 8)

1. While on an active call, press the Conference button.
2. Dial the intended party, then press the Call softkey.
3. When the call connects, press the Conference button to connect the calls.
4. Repeat to add additional parties.

To rejoin the conference if the party is not available:

1. Press the EndCall softkey.
2. Press the Resume softkey and you are connected to the conference in progress.

View Conference Participants

1. Press the Show Detail softkey. To refresh the screen, press Update.

Remove Conference Participants

1. Press the Show Detail softkey.
2. Using the navigation button, highlight the party you wish to remove.
3. Press the Remove softkey.

To answer a call that is ringing on another phone within your call pickup group:

1. Press the PickUp softkey to transfer a ringing call within your pickup group to your phone.
2. If the call rings, press the Answer softkey to connect the call.

To redirect an incoming, ringing call while on another call:

1. Highlight the incoming call and press the Divert softkey.

To redirect an incoming call while not on a call:

1. Press the Divert softkey.

To redirect a held call:

1. First resume the call, then press the Divert softkey.

1. Press the DND softkey to turn on or off the ringer on the phone.

1. Press the Contact button.
2. Select Corporate Directory.
3. Perform a search by name or extension and press Submit.
4. To dial, scroll to a listing and press the Select button on the Navigation pad.
5. Press the Select button again.
6. Press the Call softkey.

To exit the directory, press the Back button multiple times.
