Shared Drive Outage – Aug 12-14

IET is migrating administrative file services to an upgraded file server this weekend.  This upgrade is required to meet security standards and to modernize our infrastructure.

What does it mean to you?

This is a complicated process involving moving and processing a lot of data.  We are scheduling the outage window as 10:00 pm, Friday August 12, 2016 to 8:00 pm, Sunday August 14, 2016, during which you will have no access to the I, L and J drives.   We do expect to be done before that and will notify you via the campus dlist when we are done.

When you come back on Monday, please restart your computer to finalize the changeover. If you experience any issues after that, please contact the Help Desk at 7-7354.
