Description

The applicant will be responsible for controlling lab access for student activities, club meetings and projects. Applicants will train other students on proper lab protocols and safety. When possible, applicants will receive training on the Fab Lab equipment for dissemination to users. The following is a list of equipment available to users and will fall under the care and supervision of the engineering aid: 3D printers (multiple), metal CNC machine, wood, CNC machine, thermoformer, laser cutter, waterjet CNC, various electric and hand-operated tools for cutting, sawing, grinding and sanding. Other duties may involve the set-up of student labs and organization of lab equipment.
