We are now collecting any <strong>additional professional development activities completed between May 1 and June 30<\/strong> that have not yet been reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your submissions help demonstrate Virginia Western&#8217;s investment in employee development and our commitment to improving student success across the College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why Your Submission Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Virginia Community College System is tracking progress toward the following <strong>Accelerate Opportunity<\/strong> goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Goal 3.1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Increase the number of full-time faculty engaged in professional development opportunities that broaden understanding of relevant emerging topics for student success by 50% by 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Goal 4.3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ensure all front-line support staff participate in at least one professional development opportunity focused on financial resources so they can accurately respond to student inquiries by 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who Should Submit?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please complete the form if you or your department participated in <strong>any professional development between May 1 and June 30<\/strong> that has <strong>not already been reported<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conferences and institutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshops and seminars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Webinars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certifications or credentialing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional organization meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training related to teaching, learning, student success, AI, accessibility, workforce development, leadership, financial aid, advising, or other job-related topics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong> Submit Your Professional Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Button Link:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc7IHWTiK02gQ913R_j9F6V-cQi56MMJNRzRsk4yqY8SqJLFQ\/viewform?usp=header\">https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc7IHWTiK02gQ913R_j9F6V-cQi56MMJNRzRsk4yqY8SqJLFQ\/viewform?usp=header<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for helping Virginia Western demonstrate the outstanding work our faculty and staff do every day.
