Faculty awards will now be given at Spring 2026 Inservice, and the nomination window is now open. Please honor your colleagues’ hard work and dedication to Virginia Western by submitting your nominations between now and October  16!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teaching Excellence Award<\/strong> – This award recognizes full time teaching faculty who have excelled at creating a learning environment that facilitates students’ acquisition of knowledge and skills in a subject during the 2024-2025 academic year.  To demonstrate teaching excellence, consider the ways in which this teaching faculty member has gone above and beyond to create an environment that promotes student learning and success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandel College Service Award<\/strong> – This award recognizes full time teaching faculty who have distinguished themselves by going above and beyond their assigned duties to benefit the faculty, their department, academic school, and\/or the college during the 2024-2025 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
