VIVA\u00a0Open\u00a0Adopt Grants\u00a0provide awards of $2,000 to individual instructors to support the time it takes to\u00a0integrate\u00a0existing\u00a0open\u00a0or no-cost materials into a syllabus, and to ensure that the results of those efforts are widely available to Virginia educators.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This spring, Adopt Grants will be awarded in three categories:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>VIVA Open Adopt and Curation Grants:<\/strong>\u00a0Adopt and Curation Grants offer support to faculty who\u00a0have identified a single pre-existing resource or a group of resources that can be curated into the materials needed for a single class.Grants in this category can adopt\/curate any openly available resource(s), regardless of the author or where the resource is located.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>VIVA Course Mapping Grants<\/strong>: Course Mapping Grants are offered to instructors who would like to adopt a resource that has been identified and reviewed by Virginia subject experts as appropriate for a Transfer Virginia Course.
