Please review the following for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is changing?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The general look of MyVWCC will remain the same.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may need to reset your password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will need to sign up for the TOTP MFA Multifactor Authentication (MFA) method.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you currently use the PING ME &#8211; PUSH MFA method with the Rapid Identity App, you will need to set up a new MFA option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who will this affect?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Faculty and Staff will start using the new MyVWCC on August 12, 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will start using the new portal on September 23, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why are we moving to a new version of MyVWCC?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It has been three years since VCCS moved to the current version, which included MFA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The new version of Rapid Identity allows quicker updates, patches, and new features.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div style=\"border: 3px solid #000000; border-radius: 0%; background-color: inherit; \" class=\"ub-styled-box ub-bordered-box wp-block-ub-styled-box\" id=\"ub-styled-box-9332609a-c3ab-4199-a4af-4a06b9d5338d\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ub-styled-box-bordered-content-5a56075b-a275-49aa-a135-ad625bf05c21\">What do I need to do?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>On August 12<\/strong>, log into the new <a href=\"https:\/\/vw.my.vccs.edu\/\">MyVWCC portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the on-screen prompts to change or set up your settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Step-by-step instructions are available on <a href=\"https:\/\/virginiawestern.sharepoint.com\/sites\/VWConnect\/\">VWConnect<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/virginiawestern.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/s\/InformationEducationalTechnologies\/EeVar_EQy0NGlRq1vHPxAuYBNGghkmG6IwIGPZyAJhpD0A?e=dnHrvy\">direct link to PDF<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Who do I contact for help?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For further assistance, contact the Help Desk at (540) 857-7354, Monday &#8211; Friday, 7:45 AM &#8211; 5:00 PM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Virginia Western Community College will launch a new MyVWCC portal on Monday, August 12, 2024.
