The You Make the Difference card is a peer-to-peer recognition program that acknowledges and demonstrates immediate and spontaneous recognition for outstanding contributions and\/or achievements of eligible employees that truly makes a difference at Virginia Western.\u00a0 Throughout the year, any employee can recognize a peer for outstanding work by providing the employee with a You Make the Difference recognition card.\u00a0 Everyone should know that their outstanding work is valued and appreciated, therefore it is important to personally provide the card to the employee you wish to recognize outlining the outstanding contribution, achievement, or acts that go above and beyond normal expectations on a timely and meaningful basis.\u00a0 To be considered for the monthly drawing to receive a set of movie passes, cardholders may submit their card(s) received within the past year to the Human Resources Office either personally or by sending their card(s) to Human Resources through intraoffice mail.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be eligible for the award, one year from the date of the movie ticket issuance must pass before the employee is eligible again to receive movie tickets and the employee must either be a full-time employee, classified wage employee, or an adjunct teacher; and the card drawn must not be older than one year from the date of the drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next You Make the Difference monthly drawing will be held on February 22, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
