To all our VCCA members and colleagues:

This year’s Virginia Community Colleges Association’s annual Conference will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at The Holiday Inn Virginia Beach-Norfolk Hotel and Conference Center, October 3-5, 2013.

VCCA’s members – administrators, faculty, staff, students, and friends - provide a strong, unified voice in support of the community college mission, programs, and services. Besides taking an active role in the identification and examination of changing needs, the VCCA is an agent for professional development, sponsoring small and large group events designed to increase one's knowledge and to improve one's skills.

In order to afford our membership the best possible personal and professional development opportunities, we are asking administrators, faculty, staff, commission chairs, college contacts, and any other interested members to submit proposals for concurrent sessions for this year’s conference. Please consider participating as a presenter, or if you can, please pass this message along to someone you feel may be interested in participating. Submit your proposal online at http://www.vccaedu.org by May 31, 2013.
