Student Affairs Contact List

Attached is a Student Affairs Contact List that will help everyone know who to contact and how when you have questions related to Student Affairs. Thank you Chris Porter for compiling this as it will be very useful during this time of transition both with overall Student Affairs Leadership and Financial Aid Leadership.

To answer questions about overall Student Affairs Leadership, Chris Porter will serve as Interim Dean. Chris will have space in Chapman Hall in the Cashier’s Office area and will be in the building to help respond to questions and to support Student Affairs.

In Financial Aid, Laurie Owens, the Financial Aid Director for the VCCS, has been meeting with us and guiding us on our interim path forward. Not surprisingly, Laurie has been very complementary of Michele Hilts and the work that she has been doing. For the short-term, Michele will act an Interim Director. We do plan to move as quickly as possible on filling the Financial Aid Director position, which is currently posted.

I appreciate what everyone in Student Affairs and Financial aid have been doing and continues to do to help these offices run smoothly and to provide continuity and stability during this difficult time and period of transition.
