STEM-H Summit & Career Fair

More info for...

The STEM-H Summit and Career Fair (formerly the Technology Summit) is a joint effort between Virginia Western Community College and the employers of the greater Roanoke Valley.

The STEM-H Summit focus on career exploration takes place during the morning. It is specifically designed to bring together employers with high school juniors and seniors, as well as undecided VWCC students, who have an interest in pursuing science, engineering, technology, math, or health science degrees. The afternoon involves a STEM-H Career Fair geared towards Virginia Western students seeking job opportunities or to gather essential career related information from those working in the industry. This presents exciting and unique opportunities for students who want to pursue a career in a STEM-H field with a company in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. The Career Fair will be a great opportunity for both employers currently seeking to add to their workforce, and for those simply wishing to network with prospective future employees so a cache of resumes can be obtained.
