Intensive Welder Training Program

Begin a New Career in a High-Demand Field!

If you are ready for a career change, or if you haven’t yet selected a career path, consider VWCC’s Intensive Welder Training Program.

Developed by and for area employers, this program includes college credit courses in math, blueprint reading, drafting and welding. Students will also complete an internship with a local company. The program is lab oriented, with small classes where students can obtain the help they need to be successful.

You will earn 16 college credits through Virginia Western Community College, and Financial Aid may be available to assist you with tuition and book costs of approximately $1900 for the entire program. (This is the IN STATE tuition rate.)

In even numbered years, IWTP is held during the daytime. In odd numbered years, the program is held in the evening.
